Job summary

ECPI University in Virginia Beach is seeking an AI in Cybersecurity Faculty SME to integrate AI into cybersecurity and networking curricula while delivering engaging instruction.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) with 3–5 years of industry experience and teaching credentials; compensation is paid per course section and varies by discipline and credential level.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent with 18+ graduate hours)
• 3–5 years of industry experience; 10+ years preferred
• Teaching, training, or speaking experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for AI applications in cybersecurity and networking
• Collaborate with leadership to develop/refine AI-focused curriculum
• Teach cybersecurity, networking, and AI integration courses
• Apply innovative teaching strategies to enhance student outcomes
• Integrate AI tools and real-world use cases into instruction
• Stay current with AI and cybersecurity advancements
