Job summary

PLAYSTUDIOS is seeking an experienced Creative Director to shape the creative vision of our games and drive AI-enabled art workflows across the studio. You will mentor artists, establish scalable AI pipelines, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Production to elevate quality and efficiency.

As a creative leader, you will champion experimentation, develop governance for AI-generated content, and ensure artistic standards align with brand quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, Animation, or equivalent.
• 5+ years as an Art Director or senior creative leader in games.
• Strong 2D/3D art skills with visual storytelling experience.
• Experience shipping mobile or live-service games.
• Knowledge of production pipelines and asset optimization.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and drive organizational change.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience using modern generative AI tools in professional workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development and production art across social casino titles.
• Define and maintain the visual quality bar across products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Technical Art.
• Develop style guides and visual standards for new games.
• Mentor artists through feedback and career development.
• Lead AI-assisted art production and scalable workflows.
• Evaluate AI tools and integrate into production pipelines.
• Build AI-driven pipelines for concept art, assets, and localization.
• Coach teams to create AI-enabled content and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Technical Art and Engineering to integrate AI.
• Ensure outputs meet artistic, technical, and brand requirements.
• Measure workflow improvements and reduce production time.
• Deliver assets on schedule within specs and budget.
• Work with external vendors to maintain consistency.
