ThredUp is hiring a scrappy, early-career Corporate Communications Manager to help execute our corporate communications strategy. You will work directly with senior stakeholders, shaping messaging and coordinating across teams with AI-assisted tools.

The role emphasizes learning the craft of corporate comms from the ground up, owning story development, and growing into a strategic communicator while supporting earnings cycles and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications, or related field.
• Experience with agency/in-house comms, media, journalism, or consumer-facing brands.
• Strong writing and editorial judgment with storytelling ability.
• Fluency with generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for research, writing, analysis, and workflows.
• AI-native mindset and curiosity about evolving corporate communications.

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools to research, draft, edit, analyze, monitor media, and streamline comms workflows.
• Develop and execute corporate communications plans tied to business updates and product launches.
• Coordinate earnings reporting logistics and materials.
• Draft press pitches, media materials, and briefing documents.
• Monitor media coverage and flag trends, competition moves, and opportunities.
