Job summary

Trust & Will, a leading digital estate planning platform, seeks a senior Controller to steer accounting operations across the company and its subsidiaries. You will own month‑end close, tax compliance, AP/AR, and internal controls, while shaping the tech stack and automation to scale Finance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting with leadership experience, CPA preferred, and a proven ability to implement AI/automation in workflows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years accounting experience with 4–5 years in a controller/leadership role in high‑growth environments.
• Experience applying AI or automation to accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting for Trust & Will and subsidiaries; manage month‑end close, tax compliance, AP/AR.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to scale operations.
• Lead audits and reconciliations; ensure data accuracy down to the last detail.
• Manage accounting tech stack; collaborate with FP&A to keep systems integrated and efficient.
• Partner with CFO on cost analysis and financial strategy; identify optimization opportunities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure policy compliance.
