Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Technical Product Manager for its Consumer Digital team to define and deliver AI-enhanced digital experiences across consumer platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate opportunities into technical features and prioritize a backlog that drives measurable outcomes.

You will use enterprise AI tools to accelerate analysis and requirements, while ensuring responsible AI development. Remote work flexibility nationwide within the U.S. is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of technical product management or product owner experience delivering web or mobile software applications.
• 3+ years of experience defining technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• 2+ years of experience using product data, consumer feedback, or analytics to inform decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated consumer-centric mindset in fast-paced technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business product, UX, analytics, engineering, architecture, and domain stakeholders to understand consumer needs, business objectives, product performance, and opportunities.
• Translate roadmaps and features into clearly defined product requirements, user stories, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and success indicators, using AI tools.
• Own and maintain a feature backlog across web and mobile experiences, prioritizing by consumer value, outcomes, data, feasibility, dependencies, delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering/architecture to map end-to-end flows, constraints, integration needs, and translate into executable requirements.
• Support discovery through launch by coordinating requirements, dependencies, readiness activities, and stakeholder alignment.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies; escalate when appropriate.
• Contribute to AI-enabled consumer experiences with success measures, monitoring, and feedback loops.
• Monitor production performance, adoption, feedback, quality metrics, and operational issues to guide backlog.
