Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Senior Product Manager for AI Transformation within UMR Operations. You will lead governance across an Agentic AI portfolio, coordinating product, IT, data science, clinical, pricing, and compliance teams to improve claims adjudication efficiency and payment integrity.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with in-office requirements in Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area four days per week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare payer ops, consulting, or tech delivery.
• 5+ years in claims operations including adjudication or payment integrity.
• 3+ years leading business analysis or transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with product, IT, ops, compliance.
• Experience creating structured strategy artifacts and integrating models.
• Familiar with PDLC and AIDLC and modern product tools (Aha!, JIRA, FIGMA, MIRO, GitHub).
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Knowledge of AI use case strategy, problem framing, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis strategy and governance across a multi-product AI portfolio.
• Standardize requirements frameworks, traceability, and acceptance criteria.
• Align AI design with business objectives across stakeholders.
• Translate complex claims logic into AI-driven rules and frameworks.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and delivery sequencing.
• Govern AI rule libraries, prompts, and reusable decision components.
• Collaborate with capability managers for detailed requirements elaboration.
• Drive portfolio-level consistency and reuse of AI rules.
• Track value realization: cycle time, auto-adjudication, payment accuracy.
