Job summary

Foundation EGI is seeking a technically strong engineer to bridge design, simulation, and AI. You’ll work with 2D/3D CAD data, creating ML-ready representations and deploying geometry processing workflows that engineers use daily.

The role blends theory with practical application, requiring deep Python expertise and curiosity about real-world design and manufacturing. Prior academic or industry experience in engineering design is a plus, especially if you’ve touched CAD/CAE tools and ML systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in Geometric Processing, Simulation or ML applied to design workflows.
• Strong Python coding skills and modular software design.
• Background reading/writing CAD/CAE/ CAM software tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain geometry processing and simulation algorithms for engineering applications.
• Build services for reading, processing, and writing 2D/3D engineering data.
• Develop rendering modules for generating 2D/3D visual assets; curate large datasets for learning systems.
• Implement and optimize post-training workflows for ML models.
• Contribute to domain-specific languages for engineering tasks.
