Job summary

Accordion is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to embed with client finance teams and build AI-powered agents that transform how organizations interact with EPM and CPM systems. You will create intelligent solutions such as FP&A variance analysis agents, close-reporting agents, forecasting co-pilots, and automated data reconciliation workflows on top of existing financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year building AI-powered applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents tailored to client financial workflows, including variance analysis and forecasting co-pilots.
• Develop integrations between AI agents and EPM/CPM platforms like Oracle EPM Cloud, OneStream, Anaplan, Planful, Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Create automated data reconciliation and validation workflows to speed period-end close and reporting.
• Establish QA, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop checks for reliable AI outputs.
