Apple Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Screening, Integration & AI Tools Engineer to screen and prioritize bugs, integrate changes into watchOS, and build AI-powered automation that scales the team's impact.

You will triage bugs, analyze logs, identify root causes, and route issues with clear priorities, while designing and maintaining CI pipelines and agentic tools to speed up the bug-fix lifecycle. You'll collaborate across disciplines and grow skills in software development and AI tooling

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with Apple operating systems, especially watchOS and iOS, and with consumer-facing software development processes.
• Experience with bug tracking systems
• Experience with source control, preferably git, including branching, merging, and code review workflows
• Experience with automated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems
• Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI coding assistants in your own development work, and familiarity with agents, skills, and MCP
• Practical experience with command line tools on macOS, UNIX, or Linux

Responsabilidades

• Triage incoming bugs using logs, crash reports, and diagnostics to identify root causes and regression points, then route each issue to the right owner with a clear priority
• Track trends and capacity in the incoming bug queue, and flag emerging issues to engineering leadership
• Maintain source code repositories, including branching for releases and tagging changes to the watchOS build process
• Build and maintain continuous integration and automated test pipelines, review their results, and elevate regressions
• Design, build, and deploy AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows, using LLMs, skills, and MCP, that summarize and route bugs, find regressions, and reduce manual work
• Deliver high-quality tools, services, and dashboards that engineering teams depend on
• Evaluate the accuracy and impact of AI tools with metrics and feedback, and improve them based on the results
