Job summary

AllClear Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Business Intelligence & Applications Architect to lead the design and modernization of the company’s BI, data, applications, integrations, automation, and AI capabilities. This role blends strategic architecture with hands-on technical leadership.

You will work with business leaders, IT Operations, vendors, and implementation partners to define target-state designs, validate solutions through prototypes and reviews, and drive implementation across ERP

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data or solution architecture in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and delivering production BI, data, applications, automation, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong hands-on engineering, development, systems integration and delivery background.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating with vendors and partners.
• Experience mentoring developers, analysts, administrators, engineers, or other technical staff.
• Experience with complex, regulated enterprise environments and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture for BI, data, apps, integrations, automation and AI in Azure.
• Lead BI and data design including ingestion, transformation, storage, semantic models and dashboards.
• Architect business applications with data interfaces, workflows, security and deployment.
• Establish integration patterns and standards for APIs, messaging and cross‑application workflows.
• Design and prioritize automation using low-code and pro-code approaches.
• Guide secure agentic AI adoption and tool invocation with governance.
• Provide Azure architecture expertise across data, integration, apps, automation and AI.
• Remain hands-on with prototypes, reviews, and critical delivery work.
• Mentor and develop the team, fostering high engineering standards.
• Lead technical delivery across internal teams, vendors and partners and ensure quality and security.
• Establish architecture governance, reference patterns and development standards.
• Build modernization roadmap and align with IT Operations requirements.
