Job summary

Invisible is seeking a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer to shape AI-powered client solutions and own end-to-end deployment. You’ll drive architecture, design, and hands-on delivery with LLMs and agentic systems, collaborating with clients and internal teams.

You’ll lead with hands-on ML engineering, advocate robust MLOps, and mentor engineers while shaping the practice of forward-deployed AI at Invisible.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including data/ML/backend systems.
• Deep proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in ML/LLM stacks.
• Deployment patterns across cloud environments and container platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AI-driven solutions (LLM and agentic systems).
• Scope opportunities in messy workflows and turn them into repeatable systems.
• Own architecture decisions and trade-offs for performance, scalability, cost, reliability.
• Manage client-facing delivery from discovery to deployment and iteration.
• Develop reusable infrastructure and MLOps practices for model versioning and monitoring.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and influence forward-deployed AI culture.
