Job summary

KPIT is seeking an Embedded Software Validation Engineer to join our global team in Michigan. You will validate ECUs, execute SIL/HIL and system tests, analyze logs, and collaborate across software, architecture, and product teams to ensure robust automotive solutions.

The role emphasizes automation, AI-assisted test design, and continuous improvement of validation workflows using modern GenAI frameworks and industry standards such as AUTOSAR, CAN/LIN/Ethernet.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded software testing including SIL/HIL and system-level testing.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols and AUTOSAR standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test analysis processes.
• Experience with AI-assisted test design and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Embedded ECU validation activities and perform system-level testing.
• Execute and troubleshoot SIL, HIL, and system-level tests and analyze results.
• Analyze logs, test reports, and software defects to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with software developers, validation engineers, and product teams.
• Develop and maintain automated validation frameworks for embedded tests.
• Leverage GenAI tools to improve test case development and validation workflows.
