Job summary

KPIT is seeking a talented AUTOSAR Application with Model Based Software Development expertise to join our global team in Michigan. The role involves overseeing designs, implementations, and validation of embedded software features using MATLAB and Simulink, configuring model-to-code toolchains to produce MISRA compliant C/C++ for Smart Cockpit ECUs.

The candidate will own component design, verification across MIL/SIL/PIL, and drive continuous improvement of algorithms and generated code, while

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of hands-on MBSD using Statemate, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, or TargetLink.
• Experience leading development projects or small teams (1–2+ years).
• Strong knowledge of Autosar standards for Classic and Adaptive platforms.
• Proficiency in MISRA compliant C/C++ code generation and embedded software.
• Familiarity with ASPICE/ISO 26262 safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Autosar Software Components.
• Configure model-to-code toolchains to generate MISRA compliant C/C++.
• Analyze and fix defects across models, generation, and integration layers.
• Plan and execute HIL, SIL, and PIL testing; verify fixes.
• Mentor junior developers and lead debugging sessions with integration teams.
