Open Approach, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer in Fort Collins, CO, on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on defining and leading automation across MSP operations, balancing probabilistic and deterministic systems, and building AI-driven solutions to scale service delivery.

You will automate internal workflows, integrate across platforms, and develop AI-enabled tooling to improve efficiency and client outcomes. GitHub projects and code samples are welcome for evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and implement automation to streamline MSP operational workflows.
• Integrate and automate workflows across RMM, PSA, monitoring, ticketing, and documentation platforms.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, NOC, and Engineering to eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Develop scripts, tools, and workflows with scalability in mind to reduce manual intervention and errors.
• Build AI-powered internal tools using large language model APIs to automate decision-making, content generation, and triage.
• Design and maintain automated workflows for multi-step tasks like ticket enrichment and escalation routing.
• Identify AI-assisted summarization, classification, or prediction opportunities to reduce technician workload.
