Job summary

Battelle Energy Alliance is seeking a Power Platform Engineer in Idaho Falls to own full-stack solution delivery using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You will translate stakeholder needs into MVP-deliverable apps and workflows, collaborating with AI/automation engineers to apply generative AI and prompt engineering when appropriate.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
5+ years building production solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform or equivalent low-code/full-stack development.
Experience leading stakeholder discovery and requirements elicitation from first conversation through delivery.
Experience integrating across enterprise apps using REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience building database queries.
Genuinely personable, customer-facing, able to be the face of a solution.

Responsibilities

Design and build PowerApps including apps embedded in SharePoint sites.
Develop automated workflows and RPA solutions in Power Automate.
Build Power BI dashboards and reports for various audiences.
Apply AI and agentic automation using Python, generative AI, and prompt engineering.
Reach beyond the Power Platform to build custom solutions in Python frameworks or .NET when needed.
Partner with UX designer to ensure a modern, polished user experience.
Maintain critical documentation for supportability.
Other duties as assigned.
