Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation invites a Year-Round Intern in Application Security to join our Product & Application Security team in Dallas. You will help researchers codify OCC security standards using frontier AI models and embed them into developer workflows.

The role emphasizes hands-on automation within production-like environments. Ideal candidates are rising seniors or early graduate students with Python, Git/GitHub, and familiarity with SDLC and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or 2nd-year graduate student, graduating Dec 2027 or May/Aug 2028.
• Majors include Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or MIS.
• Basic programming/scripting (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD concepts.
• Exposure to AI/LLM tools and cloud environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use frontier AI models to research, codify, and embed OCC security standards into developer workflows.
• Automate enforcement of security standards in CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Collaborate with development teams to test standards in real environments.
• Produce AI-consumable configuration files integrating security requirements.
