Job summary

InvestCloud is seeking an Application Security Architect to design and lead a security program centered on Wiz, automating security into every step of software delivery. You will work with developers to ensure secure AI-assisted coding and design guardrails for AI agents.

You will also lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and integrate tools to close gaps Wiz may miss, while mentoring the AppSec team and collaborating with Cloud and AI Security Architects.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience across software development and application security.
• Hands-on expertise with Wiz, including code, pipeline, and cloud-to-code capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of modern build pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and automating security without slowing developers down.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an application security program with Wiz as the core platform.
• Automate security across the SDLC including code scanning, dependencies, secrets, container & IaC scanning, and release gates.
• Design security models for AI-assisted development and guardrails for AI coding agents.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews for new products and features.
• Find and remediate weaknesses and misconfigurations before production.
• Integrate tools to cover gaps left by Wiz and deliver findings in developers' native tools.
• Mentor the AppSec team and partner with Cloud and AI Security Architects.
