Accenture is hiring an Application Security Modernization Consultant in Irving, TX for an onsite role. You will design security architectures, migrate legacy applications to cloud environments, and conduct security assessments for modernized systems.

You will deliver security solutions including AI agents and Harnesses, align work with engagement objectives, and mentor junior practitioners while driving secure DevSecOps practices across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application security focusing on cloud modernization and DevSecOps.
• 3+ years migrating, assessing, and securing .NET, Java, SAP, or SQL databases in cloud environments.
• 3+ years applying application security tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST, CNAPP, WAF, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 12+ years work experience; Associate’s degree requires 6 years.
• Travel may be required (0–100%).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships and translate security needs into modernization plans.
• Design modern security architectures for .NET, Linux web apps, Java apps, and SQL databases.
• Guide migration of legacy applications to cloud environments, ensuring security standards.
• Apply deep security knowledge to cloud migration and modernization challenges.
• Integrate security within the secure SDLC and DevSecOps.
• Deliver security solutions including AI agents and Harnesses.
• Communicate client expectations to the engagement team.
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of modernized environments.
• Own engagement components and contribute to smaller projects.
• Contribute to engagement planning and deliverables meeting contracts.
• Deliver services per ACC Project Manager specs and exceed expectations.
• Coach junior practitioners and develop reusable assets and methods.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen security frameworks during engagements.
