Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Platforms Practice. You will identify user requirements and develop UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms, engaging in coding and creating specifications to deliver development services aligned with business needs.

You will tackle complex problems in agile teams, design robust APIs and microservices with Java/Python and FastAPI, apply Generative AI, and build scalable data visualizations with tools like D3, PowerBI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.
