Job summary

EY is seeking a software engineer to join the Platforms Practice, focusing on UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You’ll identify user requirements, engage in coding, and deliver specifications aligning with business needs.

You’ll work in an agile delivery process, design robust APIs and microservices, apply Generative AI to real-world problems, and contribute to distributed systems and data visualization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.
