Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Agentic AI Solutions Intern to bridge conversational AI with academic library infrastructure. You will design prompts, build Gemini Gems and skill packs, and test OpenAPI and MCP endpoints to improve AI-driven discovery for students and faculty.

You will work with our development team to evaluate LLM outputs, stress-test APIs, and explore GEO/AIO concepts in a research library context, offering a high-impact, hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at NC State University.
• Experience using conversational AI such as Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design specialized system prompts for Agentic AI Solutions.
• Build Gemini Gems and skill packs for AI agents.
• Construct synthetic test benches to stress-test MCP endpoints and OpenAPI.
• Ensure discovery architecture returns accurate, deep-linked results for users.
