Job summary

NC State University seeks an Agentic AI Solutions Intern to help shape next-generation AI interfaces for academic library infrastructure in Raleigh, NC. You will design prompts, build Gemini Gems, and stress-test MCP endpoints while collaborating with the development team to ensure accurate, deep-linked results for students and faculty.

The role targets current undergraduate or graduate students with experience in conversational AI (Gemini, ChatGPT) and an interest in Generative Engine

Qualifications

• Experience using conversational AI such as Gemini or ChatGPT.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at NC State University.
• Familiarity with AI workflows and evaluating AI outputs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design specialized system prompts for AI agents.
• Build Gemini Gems and skill packs for integration.
• Construct synthetic test benches to stress-test endpoints and MCP.
