YFN is seeking an AI Development Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions for our jewelry e-commerce platform. You will work on LLM-based applications, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and API integrations to optimize customer experience and operations.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, implement prompt engineering, evaluate models, and monitor performance, cost, and security while staying current with AI advances in personalization and

Competenze

BS/BA degree in CS/AI/SE or related field.
Proficient Python and backend development.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and innovative AI Development Engineer to join our technology team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-powered solutions that enhance customer experiences, optimize business operations, and drive innovation in the jewelry e-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks.
Build and optimize AI Agents, intelligent customer service systems, recommendation engines, and workflow automation solutions.
Integrate AI capabilities into e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and internal business applications through APIs.
Develop and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, knowledge bases, and vector search solutions.
Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization to improve AI response accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to transform business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
Research emerging AI technologies and explore practical applications in personalized jewelry design, customer engagement, and business automation.
Monitor and improve AI application performance, security, stability, and operational costs.

What you bring

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in backend development and RESTful API integration.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and AI development frameworks such as OpenAI API, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with RAG architectures, embedding models, vector databases, and semantic search technologies.
Understanding of prompt engineering, AI Agent workflows, function calling, and tool integration.
Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with Git, Docker, cloud deployment, and modern software development practices.
Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to read English technical documentation and stay updated with the latest AI developments.
