YO AI Labs is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and improve machine learning systems. You will work with product and technical colleagues to translate problems into reliable AI capabilities across the development lifecycle.

This role blends independent technical work with close collaboration; you will document decisions and ensure solutions are maintainable, measurable, and appropriate, considering performance, privacy, fairness, and user experience.

Competenze

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, data science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Python and software development practices (version control, testing, debugging, code review).
• Familiar with ML concepts, model evaluation, data processing; PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn experience expected.
• Experience building, integrating, or deploying ML models is advantageous.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, containers, databases, or data pipelines is useful.
• Clear written and verbal communication, analytical judgment, attention to detail, prioritization.
• Open to feedback, comfortable with ambiguity, committed to responsible development.

About The Role

YO AI Labs is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to help design, build, evaluate, and improve machine learning systems. In this role, you will work with technical and product colleagues to turn problems and requirements into reliable AI capabilities. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from data preparation and model experimentation to deployment, monitoring, and iteration. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with a practical understanding of machine learning and a willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment.

This position involves both independent technical work and close collaboration. You will communicate your approach, document important decisions, and help ensure that solutions are maintainable, measurable, and appropriate for their intended use. Qualifications

• Applicants should have a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, data science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• You should have programming experience in Python and be comfortable with software development practices such as version control, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, model evaluation, data processing, and commonly used frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn is expected.
• Experience building, integrating, or deploying machine learning models is an advantage.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, containers, databases, or data pipelines is also useful.

• Build maintainable software components and integrate models with services, APIs, and existing applications.
• Support deployment and ongoing monitoring by tracking model performance, reliability, and relevant operational measures.
• Investigate issues, contribute to debugging and optimization, and recommend improvements as systems evolve.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, designers, and other stakeholders to clarify objectives and deliver cohesive solutions.
• Document code, experiments, and decisions so that work can be reviewed and extended.
• Follow responsible AI practices, including attention to privacy, security, fairness, transparency, and potential misuse, and raise concerns when a solution may not meet appropriate standards.
