Job summary

SaxeCap is hiring an AI Deployment Specialist to join our AI transformation team. From day one you will work with VPs and senior leadership across every phase of AI-driven value creation, from evaluating opportunities for PE sponsors to building transformation roadmaps for portfolio companies.

You will be in the room with PE partners, portfolio executives, and engineers, running analyses, shaping investments, and quantifying EBITDA impact.

Qualifications

About the Role:

We are hiring an AI Deployment Specialist to join our AI transformation team. This is one of the highest-leverage early-career roles in AI and private equity. You will work directly alongside our VPs and senior leadership across every phase of AI-driven value creation, from evaluating opportunities for PE sponsors, to building transformation roadmaps for portfolio companies, to working with our engineers and data scientists as they deploy solutions into production.

You will not be sitting in the back room building slides that someone else presents. From day one, you will be in the room with PE partners, portfolio company executives, and technical teams. You will run analyses that shape investment decisions, conduct the discovery that informs transformation roadmaps, manage workstreams on live AI deployments, and help quantify the EBITDA impact of what we build. The learning curve is steep and the exposure is unmatched.

About You:

You are early in your career but already operating above your title. You are technical enough to hold your own with engineers and data scientists, structured enough to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations, and scrappy enough to figure things out without being told exactly what to do. You want to be at the intersection of AI and business value creation, and you want reps, not theory. Specifically:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in one or more of: strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, AI/ML engineering, data science, or product management
• You have real technical chops: hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and data analysis tools is expected. Experience with generative AI, machine learning, NLP, or data science is a strong differentiator. You should be able to pull data, run analyses, and prototype solutions, not just talk about them.
• You have strong analytical and structured thinking skills, whether from consulting, banking, engineering, or a technical research background
• You have experience managing stakeholder relationships and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• You have product instincts: you understand how to go from a user pain point to a scoped technical solution, and you have some experience coordinating with engineering or data science teams
• You have experience (or strong aptitude for) quantifying the business impact of technology initiatives in financial terms (enterprise value, EBITDA, ROI)
• You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You can context-switch across multiple projects, manage competing deadlines, and maintain quality under pressure.
• You are a self-starter who takes ownership. You don't wait to be told what to do, you identify what needs to happen and make it happen.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field from a top-tier institution
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
