Job summary

UpSmith is seeking an AI Outcomes Associate to own end-to-end AI agent deployments with clients, diagnose failures, and drive revenue impact. You will work directly with customers, AI Outcomes managers, and engineers to deploy agents and refine behavior in production.

This front-line role requires product judgment, data-driven decision-making, and comfort operating in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and systems thinking skills.
• Comfort working across codebases, tooling, product, and customer conversations.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and make sound judgment calls quickly.
• Bias toward action with a high bar for quality; technical fluency.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end success of AI agent deployments for clients.
• Define, track, and improve indicators of agent success (conversion, bookings, revenue lift).
• Diagnose failures across data, prompts, tooling, and customer workflows.
• Act as the single accountable owner for Is this working—and why?.
• Work with AI agents in production: prompting, behavior design, guardrails, escalation.
• Partner with engineering on system improvements surfaced from the field.
• Translate customer reality into clear product insights and roadmap input.
• Identify and address agent behavior, product abstraction, or workflow mismatches.
