Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking an AI Deployment Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support AI-enabled software in a production setting. This hands-on role emphasizes secure, scalable solutions across plant operations with enterprise tooling and APIs.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, and IT to deliver working software through the full development lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, and early production support.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in IT, automation, or software delivery with hands-on production apps.
• Three to five years as software developer shipping code to business environments.
• Experience reading, writing, and debugging production-quality code.
• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript across frontend, service, APIs, automation.
• Experience with Git, PRs, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Experience consuming and securing REST APIs.
• Security, data protection, and secure development practices.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production applications and AI-enabled solutions.
• Serve as a technical guide for business teams to build usable solutions.
• Provide hands-on guidance during design, prototyping, and deployment.
• Manage delivery from discovery to early-life support, including scope and timelines.
• Write clean, secure, testable code with proper documentation and monitoring.
• Translate needs into technical designs and scalable production apps.
• Build components across frontend, service tier, APIs, and data layers.
• Diagnose defects, troubleshoot issues, and harden internal solutions.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and production readiness.
• Establish reusable components, templates, and governance practices.
• Partner with IT teams to meet identity, data protection, and logging standards.
• Support citizen developers by guiding and qualifying user-built solutions.
