Job summary

Simular is seeking a Customer Engineer to partner with early customers, deploying and adapting AI agents in real-world environments. You will translate customer needs into features, prototypes and integrations, and write scripts to automate workflows.

You will bridge customer-facing teams with core engineering and research, turning feedback into roadmap priorities while maintaining a scrappy, customer-obsessed mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IS or related field.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering roles.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, balancing immediate problem-solving with long-term product thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: SaaS/AI deployments or solutions engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with early customers to deploy and adapt Simular’s AI agents in real-world environments.
• Translate customer needs into product features, prototypes, and integrations.
• Write scripts and workflows to adapt our agents to customer-specific environments.
• Build custom solutions, tools, and workflows that showcase the power of Simular in production.
• Act as the bridge between customer-facing teams and core engineering/research - turning feedback into roadmap priorities.
• Be a “founding multiplier”: scrappy, resourceful, and deeply customer-obsessed.
