Job summary

i3 is seeking an experienced Data Science & AI Delivery Lead to guide enterprise AI and machine learning initiatives within a global insurer. This leadership role blends software engineering, data science, AI, and delivery leadership to shape the technical direction of a growing AI function while delivering innovative solutions.

You will lead end-to-end AI delivery, mentor a team of Data Scientists and AI Engineers, and ensure scalable, production-ready capabilities using LLMs, RAG, and cloud

Qualifications

• Production AI/ML delivery experience in enterprise settings.
• Strong Python development skills with ML frameworks.
• Hands-on with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering solutions.
• Insurance/financial services background preferred.
• Knowledge of responsible AI and model governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI, ML, and analytics from concept through production.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple AI initiatives with high architectural standards.
• Design and build AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI approaches.
• Remain hands-on with Python code, architecture reviews, and problem-solving.
• Drive MLOps, testing, deployment, monitoring, version control, and governance.
• Partner with engineering, data, and business teams to deliver scalable AI capabilities.
• Mentor Data Scientists and AI Engineers through coaching and code reviews.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and lead proof-of-concepts that create business value.
