Job summary

Uber is conducting a senior data governance leadership search to own Data Trust and Governance within the DI&S team of CAS. You will ensure data reliability, lineage, and semantic clarity to support AI-enabled analytics at scale.

You will partner with engineering, analytics, product, and operations to embed governance into data design and establish clear ownership and accountability for data quality and trust.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in analytics-focused roles with data insights experience.
• Experience operationalizing core data governance functions at enterprise scale.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce data quality and trust standards.
• Govern canonical data foundation powering analytics and AI.
• Set observability, freshness, and reliability standards.
• Govern master data, metadata, and data semantics.
• Oversee metric definitions and data lineage for traceability.
• Ensure analytics- and AI-readiness of data standards.
• Define ownership, stewardship, and governance adoption.
• Embed governance into data design and modernization.
