Job summary

FPT Americas is seeking a Technical Lead, AI & Data to drive enterprise AI, ML, and data solutions. You will own technical direction, design scalable architectures, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver production‑ready platforms.

The role focuses on architecture, engineering excellence, and solution ownership, with delivery management as a supporting responsibility. Strong Cloud (Azure/AWS) and modern AI tech are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership.
• Proven experience delivering multiple AI, Machine Learning, Data Platform, or Advanced Analytics initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Modelling, and Cloud‑based Analytics platforms.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS data and AI services.
• Strong knowledge of modern AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Vector Databases, and MLOps.
• Experience leading distributed engineering teams and mentoring technical professionals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Analytics solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and production‑ready technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to deployment and optimisation.
• Guide teams of Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Architects, and Developers.
• Review solution designs, data pipelines, AI models, integrations, and cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, client teams, and delivery leadership to ensure successful outcomes.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support solutioning, estimation, and technical proposals for new AI/Data opportunities.
