Job summary

Peraton is seeking a seasoned AI/ML Engineer Technology Lead to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI/ML solutions, guiding a skilled team on mission-critical programs. You will shape strategy, mentor practitioners, and collaborate with customer leadership to scale production-ready AI across cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and AI/ML frameworks proficiency.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Data pipelines, model lifecycle, scalable AI architectures.
• Experience in Agile or DevSecOps environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary POC for AI/ML technical matters with customers and stakeholders.
• Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and productization of AI/ML tech.
• Develop and communicate AI/ML strategies and roadmaps aligned with missions.
• Advise leadership on emerging AI/ML technologies and industry trends.
• Represent AI/ML capabilities during engagements, briefings, demos, reviews.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship to AI/ML teams; workforce planning.
• Support staffing, hiring, and professional development initiatives.
