Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking an AI Data & Security Governance Engineer to design and deploy governance-as-code, automated security controls, and data access infrastructure across distributed teams.

You will integrate model evaluation, security checks, and compliance into CI/CD pipelines while ensuring secure storage, LLM deployments, and application architectures. A strong background in security, data, and AI governance is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Security, AI Engineering/Governance, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of software, data, or security engineering experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of programming in Python, SQL, Bash, Go, or similar languages
• Minimum of five (5) years of AI/ML Ops deploying and securing ML models in production
• Minimum of five (5) years of DevOps & Automation CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools
• Minimum of five (5) years of governance platforms (Collibra, Immuta, Privacera)
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy automated security controls within CI/CD pipelines
• Implement governance-as-code and data access infrastructure
• Build automated data masking, encryption, and anonymization in data pipelines
• Secure cloud storage, compute, and database configurations
• Monitor model performance, drift, and compliance in real-time
• Support data lineage and audit reporting for security audits
• Collaborate with HTA divisions to ensure secure LLM deployments
