Qualifications

• Ownership, drive projects with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Data Science, ML, -omics and AI.
• Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
• Hands-on with instrumentation and molecular cloning workflows.
• Startup mindset—translate requirements into MVPs with iterative feedback.
• Bioprocessing and cell biology concepts.
• On-site presence 2+ days a week near Berkeley, CA.

Responsibilities

• Envision and design AI/OT workflows with stakeholders.
• Develop and encode new high-throughput workflows using AI tools.
• Develop analysis pipelines from -omics data.
• Train and evaluate ML models for outcomes.
• Integrate solutions within organizational tools and data sources; leverage dashboards.
• Collaborate with IT and Data teams for infrastructure support.
• Work 20 hrs/week concurrent with school.
