Job summary

Feed Energy Company is seeking an AI & Data Intern to join the IT team for hands-on data work and emerging AI projects. You will support data collection, cleaning, dashboards, and analytics, with opportunities to contribute to internal AI initiatives and data‑driven decision making.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and applying data insights in a real-world environment, with mentorship from IT and data professionals and a paid internship during a 10–12 week term.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python (including pandas) and/or R.
• SQL with joins, aggregations, and data transformations.
• Familiarity with Excel and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Support dashboards, reports, and visualizations development and maintenance.
• Work with IT and business teams to identify data analysis and automation opportunities.
• Assist with AI-focused initiatives (ML concepts, predictive analytics, AI validation).
• Document data pipelines and workflows; conduct exploratory data analysis to derive insights.
