Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in Boston, MA, seeks a Manager level professional for Consulting - Technology Consulting - AI & Data. You will bring order to data, drive architecture standards, and lead teams to deliver data-engineering solutions at scale across client engagements.

Role requires strong data modeling, architecture, and cloud experience (Azure, AWS, Google). Travel up to 60% is anticipated; hybrid working model and broad EY benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, MIS or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience; or Master’s degree and 4 years of work experience.
• Must have 4 years of experience in data modeling, architecture and data engineering methods.
• Must have 3 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google).
• Must have 4 years of experience in navigating database models to build data sets for analytics and model training.
• Must have 2 years of experience in end-to-end lifecycle of discovery, requirements definition, solution architecture, redesigning, building, deploying data engineering solutions.
• Must have 2 years of experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, Pandas, Spark).
• Must have 2 years of experience with containerization and scaling models and integrating models with downstream systems.
• Must have 2 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Travel up to 60% (10% international) to serve client needs.

Responsibilities

• Bring order and structure to structured and unstructured data; perform data modeling, architecture, and adhere to client and EY architecture standards.
• Lead big-data problem solving to collect, analyze, and present findings and solutions; lead junior team members and work with clients to deliver technology consulting services.
• Serve as the go-to resource for understanding clients’ problems through data gathering and analysis; enable the use of ML/AI at scale.
• Drive efforts to design, architect, and develop data platforms/solutions to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets; leverage client data platforms and build new platforms as needed.
• Participate in business development and knowledge growth opportunities to strengthen aptitude to propose AI-ready data solutions.
• Manage and motivate teams; deliver quality client services; maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge; collaborate across EY teams.
