Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC invites active undergraduate students in Artificial Intelligence to join a Winter Internship as Intern Consultants. The program is a paid, two‑month opportunity based at Headquarters.

You will collect and prepare data for AI use cases, help develop prototypes, evaluate models, and document findings for technical and non‑technical stakeholders while gaining hands‑on experience with Python and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Active undergraduate in Artificial Intelligence; graduation after internship period.
• Fluency in English with working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is a plus.
• Learning mindset, collaboration, client focus, communication, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Support data collection, cleaning, organization for AI/ML analytics use cases.
• Assist in developing, testing, and documenting AI prototypes and automation solutions.
• Contribute to evaluation of AI models and tools by analyzing outputs and summarizing opportunities for improvement.
• Research emerging AI methods and responsible AI practices to inform team discussions.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders.
