Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join our distributed AI team. You will build data pipelines powering large-scale model training and new AI products, discovering data sources and ensuring data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with AI scientists, own engineering projects end-to-end, and work in a fully remote, international environment. A strong background in data pipelines and Python is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend development fundamentals
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments

Responsibilities

• Discover new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines for training datasets
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems for high throughput and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets and models
• Take ownership of projects from discovery to implementation and improvement
