Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join our distributed AI team and build data pipelines powering model training and future AI products.

You'll develop high-quality datasets at scale, combining engineering, infrastructure, and research, and solve complex data challenges. You will own projects from discovery to production, collaborating with AI scientists to improve training data and models.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production systems with data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving, initiative, and ability to work independently in ambiguous settings.

Responsabilidades

• Discover new sources of audio data and build pipelines for training datasets.
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems with emphasis on quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets and models.
• Own engineering projects from discovery to implementation and improvement.
