Job summary

Etched in the Bay Area is building frontier AI hardware and seeks a Facilities Engineering Operations Lead to own day-to-day data center operations, uptime, incident response, and escalation across power, cooling, and the white space.

You will stand up the operating system from scratch, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, change management, preventive maintenance, on-call coverage, alarms, and the playbook we copy to future sites.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years in critical facilities and data center operations
• Hands-on experience with liquid cooling in production
• Experience leading incident response and root cause analysis

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day data center ops: uptime, incident response, escalation for power, cooling, and white space.
• Build the operating system from scratch: SOPs, MOPs, EOPs; change management; maintenance schedules; on-call; alarms.
