Job summary

RRA Capital in Phoenix, AZ is hiring its first AI and Data Architect to design and build the data foundation that powers investment decisions, operations, and eventual intelligent agents.

You will own the data understanding, create a unified knowledge layer with governance, and establish enterprise search, with plans for AI copilots and an agent-first operating model; this role offers direct access to leadership and no multi-layer approvals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.
• Know the difference between a working prototype and a production-grade system—and you've shipped the latter.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Copilot Studio, or equivalent).
• Understand data governance, identity management, and permissions in an enterprise environment.
• Can operate independently—there's no large engineering team here, and that's intentional.

Responsibilities

• Understand data landscape across platforms and define a unified knowledge layer and governance model.
• Build a data foundation with secure permissions and enterprise search to enable AI copilots.
• Roadmap toward agent-first operating model and production-grade data architecture for firm-wide use.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with investment and operations workflows.
• Translate vision into architecture and deliver the system end-to-end.
