Job summary

SierTeK Ltd. is seeking an experienced Computer Engineer/Computer Scientist to support USAF medical research and operations at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

You will lead design, development, and deployment of data analytics, decision support systems, and AI solutions for aeromedical programs. Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, and DBAs to build secure, scalable analytics across accredited computing environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/CE/SE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Python, SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, C++, MATLAB, Windows and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in software development and data analytics initiatives.
• Review code for quality, maintainability, and standards compliance.
• Lead technical planning meetings across USAFSAM and AFRL.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy decision support applications for aeromedical programs.
• Develop project work plans and assist with software management activities.
• Maintain analytical software, databases, and computational models.
• Identify risks and support successful project execution.
• Develop secure data pipelines across accredited environments.
• Create SQL data pipelines and Python analytics on the Palantir Envision platform.
• Support DHA data integration using SAS Enterprise Guide.
