Job summary

Brightpoint Community College seeks a dynamic faculty member to lead the Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Lab and teach credit and non-credit courses across AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, networking, and IT.

The 12‑month, grant-funded position provides instructional leadership and hands-on lab oversight, with opportunities to influence curricula, student success, and workforce development aligned with industry needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in qualifying discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching experience or significant industry experience in cybersecurity/IT/AI.
• Experience using instructional technologies and learning management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Teach AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, networking, IT, and related courses.
• Develop and maintain curriculum, outcomes, assessments, and learning activities.
• Assess student learning and use data to improve courses and programs.
• Advise, mentor, and support student success and progression.
• Prepare students for industry credentials and employment opportunities.
• Support internships, work-based learning, and outreach.
