Book of the Month is seeking an Associate Frontend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain features on our web and mobile applications. You will work with the engineering team to ship high-quality, scalable software across customer-facing sites and internal tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience shipping high-quality production code.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js).
• Ability to ramp up quickly on other languages and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and/or mobile applications using modern frameworks and languages.
• Collaborate with design, product, and QA to implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Work with backend engineers on full-stack projects and grow across the tech stack over time.
• Ensure applications are scalable, performant, and maintainable across the stack.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and perform code reviews.
