Spring Health is seeking an AI Interaction Designer to craft empathetic, clinically valid conversations for our AI products. You will shape language, tone, and interaction flows working with Clinical and Engineering teams to execute the AI roadmap.

This is a highly writing-focused design role based in NYC with hybrid work. You will write and test conversational copy, refine prompts, and ensure AI interactions motivate and support users in distress while maintaining trust and clarity across the

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing and editing skills with voice and tone
• Experience in Conversation Design, Content Design, UX Writing, Copywriting or related discipline, portfolio required
• Top-notch communication and executive presence for cross-functional leadership
• Deep curiosity and willingness to leverage AI as a collaborator

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end human–AI interactions across web and mobile
• Write, test, and refine conversational copy and AI prompts to help users in distress feel seen and heard
• Partner with Clinical and Product teams to drive clinically valid behavior change
• Define conversational parameters and graceful error handling for edge cases
• Collaborate with engineers to implement prompt versioning and evaluate quality
• Present conversational architecture and AI performance insights to leadership
