Job summary

Hyperbolic Labs, Inc. seeks a senior finance leader to originate and structure debt capital to fund our compute infrastructure. You will own lender relationships, lead financing discussions end-to-end, and shape the credit architecture around a unique asset class with contractual cash flows and depreciations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in capital markets, corporate development, or institutional fundraising; 10+ preferred
• Raised institutional capital before — from institutional LPs for hedge funds, PE, or VC — and can name relationships
• Experience in investment banking capital markets, preferably debt (DCM, leveraged, private capital markets)
• Existing relationships with bank, non-bank, and private credit lenders active in the AI space
• Fluency in credit documentation and structure — first-lien vs second-lien, intercreditor terms, cash sweeps
• Strong financial modeling skills; capable of building and defending a facility model
• Comfort with ambiguity, small teams, and no analyst bench
• Preferred: raised Series B/C at a startup as an operator (not advisor)
• Exposure to asset-backed, equipment, infrastructure, or project finance
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure, data centers, semiconductors, or energy

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure debt capital to fund vendor down payments and capacity commitments
• Own the lender and investor relationship map and run raises end to end
• Negotiate covenants, lien priority, and borrowing base definitions for financing facilities
• Manage post-close lender reporting and compliance
• Support equity rounds without conflicts between debt and equity tracks
• Collaborate with vendor supply and customer contracts to ensure financeable agreements
