Job summary

Hyperbolic is seeking a seasoned capital markets executive to lead debt financing efforts for innovative AI infrastructure. You will originate and structure debt facilities, manage lender relationships, and coordinate with vendor and customer contracts to ensure financeable agreements.

The role demands deep experience in bank revolvers, private credit, and structured finance, with strong modeling skills and a track record of securing institutional capital.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in capital markets, corporate development, or institutional fundraising; 10+ years preferred.
• Raised institutional capital before — from LPs for hedge funds, private equity, or venture capital — and can name relationships.
• Investment bank capital markets experience, ideally debt: DCM, leveraged finance, structured finance, private capital markets, or a financial sponsors group.
• Existing relationships with bank, non-bank, and private credit lenders active in the AI space.
• Fluent in credit documentation and structure — comfortable arguing about first-lien vs second-lien, intercreditor terms, cash sweeps, and related concepts.
• Strong financial modeling skills; you can build the facility model yourself and defend every assumption.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure debt capital to fund vendor down payments and capacity commitments across bank revolvers, private credit, and non-bank facilities.
• Own the lender and investor relationship map; run raises end to end from positioning through definitive documentation; sit in redlines on covenants, lien priority, and borrowing base definitions.
• Collaborate with teams negotiating vendor supply and customer contracts so that what we sign is financeable and ready to execute.
• In 90 days, map unit economics and lender universe; by six months, secure a term sheet for a facility; by twelve months, ensure capital can scale capacity commitments.
