Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI Cloud Security Engineer, Manager to lead the design, implementation, and security of AI-enabled products, platforms, and cloud environments, blending AI security architecture, AI Zero Trust, secure AI software development, and cloud security engineering.

You will guide technical delivery for complex client programs, applying hands-on software engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud architecture expertise to build resilient AI platforms with security embedded throughout

Qualifications

6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, cybersecurity, cloud security, or technology consulting.
Hands-on experience with at least one AI platform: Anthropic Claude, Claude Code, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Amazon Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
Experience designing or implementing cloud security architecture, DevSecOps, or AI security controls.
Experience developing APIs and distributed systems using Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Java, with automated testing and observability.
Ability to travel up to 50% on average.

Responsibilities

Lead design of secure architectures for generative AI, agentic AI, RAG, and AI-enabled apps.
Establish security practices across the AI SDLC including threat modeling and gating.
Design and secure AI workloads across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.
Direct AI security threat management, remediation prioritization, and governance.
Build production AI security applications and platforms with full-stack engineering.
Coordinate client discovery, architecture sessions, and handoffs; mentor engineers and create reference architectures.
