Job summary

Deloitte seeks an AI Cloud Security Engineer, Senior Consultant to design, build, and secure next‑gen AI-enabled products, platforms, and cloud environments. This role blends AI security architecture, AI Zero Trust, secure AI development, and cloud security engineering to deliver production‑quality solutions that help clients embed security throughout the technology lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/AI/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3+ years in software, AI, cybersecurity, cloud security, or tech consulting.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI platform: Anthropic Claude, Claude Code, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Amazon Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
• Experience designing or implementing cloud security architectures and DevSecOps.
• Experience building APIs and distributed systems using Python/TypeScript/JavaScript/Go/Java with testing and observability.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Design secure architectures for generative AI and AI-enabled apps across clouds.
• Embed security across the AI software development lifecycle with threat modeling and gates.
• Design and implement secure AI workloads across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Build AI-assisted capabilities to identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities across code, APIs, configs, and AI workloads.
• Develop production AI security applications with APIs, microservices, and observability.
• Lead client discovery, architecture sessions, workshops, and handoffs; create reference architectures and playbooks; mentor engineers.
