Job summary

Deloitte seeks an AI Cloud Security Engineer, Manager to lead secure AI product design and implementation across cloud and hybrid deployments. The role focuses on AI security architecture, AI Zero Trust, and secure AI software development, coordinating across teams and client engagements.

The position requires leadership of security programs, hands-on cloud security, and experience with multiple AI platforms. Travel and immigration sponsorship may be limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, AI, cybersecurity, CE, or SE.
• 6+ years of professional experience in software/AI engineering or security domains.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI platform (Claude, Claude Code, OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, Vertex).
• Experience designing cloud security architecture and secure development practices.
• Experience building APIs and distributed cloud applications using Python/TypeScript/JavaScript/Go/Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of secure architectures for generative AI, agentic AI, RAG, model serving, and AI-enabled enterprise apps with AI Zero Trust controls.
• Establish security practices across AI software development lifecycle, including threat modeling and governance.
• Design secure AI workloads across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Direct AI-assisted vulnerability and threat management across code, APIs, cloud configurations, and AI workloads.
• Build production AI security applications and platforms with full-stack engineering and observability.
• Lead client workshops, mentor engineers, and develop reusable reference architectures.
